Cream jug
Cream jug, soft-paste 'duck egg' porcelain, with a green translucency, London shape with rectangular body swelling to the shoulders, rounded corners, wide elongated spout, high loop handle with a top thumb spur and a double ridge collar moulding, characteristic pronounced mould line; decorated at the foot with a band of salmon pink ornamented with gilt leaves, the sides with an underglaze blue ground decorated with red and white flower chrysanthemum heads and gilt foliage, reserved with three ovals of flowers on a white ground; a further band of gilt foliage at the shoulders, handle partly gilded, enamelled inside the lip with oriental flowers, foliage, rocks and fence.
