Fox-skin cap
Fox fur hat worn by Dr William Price (1800-93) of Llantrisant. Made from the skin and tail of a fox, legs included. The skin has been shaped to fit the head by stitching under the front legs. The tail has been removed and repositioned on top of the head with a stitch through the skin and the length of the tail extends down the back of the head.
