C.R.M. Talbot & Olive, glass negative
Collodion glass negative. Christopher Rice Mansel Talbot (1803-1890) seated in a conservatory with his daughter Olive Emma (1842-1894). Olive was the daughter of industrialist and politician Christopher Rice Mansel Talbot and his wife Lady Charlotte Butler of Margam Castle. In 1872, in her private diaries, novelist Amy Dillwyn referred to Olive as her wife.
