Pot-lid
Pot-lid, earthenware, circular shape with cylindrical flange and convex top; the upperside of the lid decorated with an underglaze polychrome transfer-print in green and brown with additional overglaze colours filled in by hand, of 'The Bride' (although this title is not recorded on the lid), showing a woodland setting with a female figure seated on a throne-like chair, another female figure kneeling at her feet, and a male figure standing to one side, the print enclosed by a circular border of a brick-work pattern. The glaze crazed.
