Plate
Plate, buff coloured earthenware, circular shape, standing on a straight-sided tapering foot-rim, curving sides and spreading rim; covered all over with a slightly blue tinged white tin-glaze, the upperside of the plate painted in red, yellow, green and blue with to the centre of the well a heron-like bird standing on a patch of water and surrounded by spreading flowers and foliage, border to the rim of stylized leaves issuing scrolls, a chip missing from the rim.
