Rectangular basket used to store wool for spinning and yarn rolls. Unknown maker, Lampeter, south-west Wales, late 1800s. The top of the basket displays decorative trellis work showing the creativity of the lip-worker when making practical objects. This example is from Llangybi, Cardiganshire.
