Tea bowl and saucer

Tea bowl and saucer, hard-paste porcelain, tea bowl standing on a foot rim, flared body, everted lip; outer surface decorated with relief vines with fruit painted in polychrome enamels and gilt, gilt border to foot rim and lip, bottom decorated in polychrome enamels with a horse and rider in a landscape surrounded by two iron-red concentric circles, ornamental gilt border, solid gilt band to lip. Saucer standing on a foot rim, spreading body and everted lip; decorated in centre with three figures in a landscape, two of which are in the process of sawing wood on a frame, one seated on-looker, within a gilt and purple lustre cartouche with iron-red and purple scrolling, surrounded by an ornamental gilt border, gold band to lip, underside decorted with relief vine plants with fruit painted in polychrome enames and gilt, a bird eats some of the fruit, gilt band to foot rim, and underside of lip.
