Saucer standing on a foot rim, spreading body and everted lip; decorated in centre with three figures in a landscape, two of which are in the process of sawing wood on a frame, one seated on-looker, within a gilt and purple lustre cartouche with iron-red and purple scrolling, surrounded by an ornamental gilt border, gold band to lip, underside decorted with relief vine plants with fruit painted in polychrome enames and gilt, a bird eats some of the fruit, gilt band to foot rim, and underside of lip.
