Jug
Jug, pearlware, standing on a rounded spreading foot-rim, globular body, cylindrical neck, plain beak spout, angular scrolled handle; the exterior of the jug covered with silver lustre, this then decorated using silver lustre resist techniques with around the body a design of two exotic long-tailed birds standing amid stylized flowering plants, the lower body and foot-rim left white, around the neck a design of stylized foliage and a geometric border of overlapping oval-shapes, two white stripes to the handle, a floral motif to the underside of the spout, a silver lustre band around the interior lip-rim and spout. The lip-rim chipped.
