Spill vase
Spill-vase, hard-paste porcelain, with a creamy white translucency; standing on a straight sided, flared foot rim, curving into tall flared sides; painted on one side with a bird perched in a tree in a landscape, with growing pink flowers either side; other side painted with a flower spray including pink and white roses and rosebuds, a purple tulip, and bluebells; wide gilt band and two narrower bands around the foot; gilt lip, with a shaped gilt border inside the lip of alternating plain gilt and hatched gilt semi circles.
