bull holder with an oval ring at one end and handle at the other end; ring formed by closing two parts together into nostrills of bull; rounded, wider ends for the nostrils; one part pivoted on the main shaft; ring opened and closed by sliding square ring up and down the shaft; square ring held in closed position by fitting into recesses underneath the shaft, and a bent strip of metal in tension inside the ring pressing up against it; other end of the strip screwed to the shaft; oval handle attached by pivot to end of square-section shaft; price tag 14/6
