Roman samian bowl, decorated
Panel decoration, demarcated by wavy lines terminating in astragali and a spiral bud. In three panels the lower extremities of three figures, which have been restored as Gladiators (D.582 and 583), a nude man (D.347) and Diana and the Large Hind (D.64). All these are Lezoux types. Below the Gladiators are three detached two-bladed pinnate leaves. Fair glaze and paste.
