Figure of Empress Eugénie, earthenware, on an oval base with a moulded rocky upperside, around the front of the base is embossed the inscription "EMPRESS OF FRANCE", in the form of a female figure wearing a long riding habit and feathery hat with veil, riding side-saddle on a horse with ornamental harness, the left front leg of the horsde broken off, the rear of the figure left flat; decorated in polychrome enamels, the figure with blue riding habit ornamented in gilt, yellow gloves, green veil and pink feathers in the hat, the horse painted in orange-pink with orange mane and tail and with a yellow saddle ornamented in brown, the base painted in greens and browns.
