Early Medieval silver arm ring
Fragment of hack silver of broad band arm ring of Hiberno-Norse type. Parallel cuts transversely across the ring providing a narrow rectangular piece of hack silver. The stamped decoration on the outside of the ring comprised repeating triangular indents either side of the median line forming a border top and bottom. Similar lines in the saltire pattern within the external borders.
