De Winton Colliery, Aberdare, photograph
General surface view of De Winton Colliery, Aberdare, showing wooden headframe with a single winding pulley. The two large chimneys are temporary boiler stacks supported by guy ropes. The two ladies seem to have unusually white collars and straw hats and are probably visitors rather than screen hands.
