Snuffer stand
Snuffer stand, silver, standing on a stepped octagonal base, the foot rim formed by an applied flat wire, the base rising to a baluster stem supporting an upright shaped rectangular box with a scroll handle with thumbrest and a square hole in one side of the bottom; the base decorated with moulding and a band of gadroons, the baluster knop and rim of the box gadrooned, beading along the top of the handle, the base engraved with an unidentified coat of arms (a lion rampant impaling three scallop shells a chevron between).
