Lloyd, T.A. ('Telynor Ceiriog') (Tom Lloyd (1858-1917), who used the bardic name 'Telynor Ceiriog' - 'Harpist of Ceiriog', was well-known as a harp player and tutor in his part of Wales. He taught renowned 20th century triple-harpist Nansi Richards Jones. He was a native of the former slate-quarrying village of Llangynog, in Montgomeryshire, mid-Wales. He was buried at the nearby church of Pennant Melangell, but spent a good deal of his life in Pennsylvania, and clearly he lived in West Pawlet, Vermont, in 1893.)
Harp awarded first prize at the Chicago World Fair, 1893. The competition at the World Fair included both the making and playing of a Welsh triple harp.
