Red stained wood Prince of Wales Investiture Chair with gilt Prince of Wales crest and red flannel padded seat. Made for guests to the investiture of Prince Charles as the Prince of Wales on 1 July 1969 at Caernarfon Castle. The chair was designed by Lord Snowdon, with flannel woven by Cambrian Mills Dre-fach, and maufactured by Remploy factories across Wales.
