Small jar of mottled grey and buff stoneware, standing on a flat base, squat cylindrical body, incised band below shoulder, the shoulders rounded, tapering toward a short, waisted neck with rounded lip rim; the neck and upper body with a pale, thin iron-brown wash, the interior and exterior with a clear salt-glaze, the areas of colouration with a freckled appearance.
