Group of Two Greyhounds playing with a Ball
Pierre Jules, MÈNE (1810 - 1880)
Sculpture of two grey hounds, female & puppy standing on an oval base. The female stands with her left foreleg raised and head turned towards her left shoulder regarding the puppy who crouches back on it's hind legs with it's forelegs stretched forward. A ball lies between them. On the base a stylised cruciform pattern lies upon the surface.
