Roman copper alloy knife handle
Composite knife handle. An iron tang, the full width of the blade, runs the length of the handle. To either side is a strip of wood of semi-circular section. The outer faces of these are covered in bronze sheeting with a bronze disc covering the expanded end. Condition: iron badly corroded.
