Early Bronze Age pottery collared urn
Good ware with buff surface, of bipartite type, with deep collar and deep internal bevel to rim. Decoration (corded) throughout: on bevel of rim: three horizontal lines; on collar: alternating triangles with filling of oblique lines with single enclosing line above and below and a narrow band of short oblique lines on bottom of flange. Restored from fragments.
A large urn was placed over this small urn containing the cremated bones of a child aged 7-11 years. 1700-1500 BCE.
