Figure of a Welsh gilr, stained ivory porcelain, standing on a flat base moulded to resemble floor tiles or bricks, the figure supported behind by a short rectangular rock on which she rests her left hand, the figure wears a stove-pipe hat with turquoise ribbon, shawl, sprigged apron, skirt and gilt shoes, in her right hand she holds a gilt pail, the figure is coloured using glazes of delicate soft shades, with the base coloured a yellowy-pink shade and much of the costume coloured a pinky-orange shade with gilt edging.
