Medieval copper alloy tripod ewer
Tripod ewer or laver with plain, pear-shaped body and a curved tubular spout of hexagonal cross-section, supported by a strut joining it to the neck, which is cylindrical. Spout notched on each side at mouth end, and with notched chevrons on top. Plain strap handle.

Notes: Found in about 14-16" deep in black earth, within or close to silted up depression around low mound known as Castell Crow.
