Plate
Small plate, buff coloured earthenware, circular shape with inset base within a flattened-off foot-rim, curving sides and spreading rim; covered all over with a blue tinged tin-glaze, the upperside of the plate painted in blue with to the centre of the well a Chinese-style landscape showing an expanse of water with to one side a spreading willow tree issuing out of an outcrop of land and to the other side a small cottage-like building, the scene enclosed within a blue circular band, to the rim six stylized leaves or shells linked by a continuous arch and dot border, the glaze worn off around the edge of the rim.
