Davey’s series Looking for Alice explores the “entwined narratives of my relationship with my daughter, and society’s prevailing attitudes towards people with Down’s syndrome”. Whilst Davey’s photographs are intensely personal they also reflect a universal narrative that explores the complexity and beauty of love, childhood and family life.
