Early Medieval copper alloy brooch
Fragment of openwork brooch, possibly from a 'tortoise' brooch. Fragment is roughly crescent-shaped, with a proturburance at the centre, across which are a series of differently-sized circular or sub-circular perforations set in a pattern. As only a small section remains of an entire object, the overall pattern is difficult to interpret.
