Cream jug
Cream jug, earthenware, standing on a rectangular base, oblong boat-shaped body with fluting around the lower body and a narrow band of beading around the shoulder, slightly everted lip-rim, wide spout, loop handle modelled with a bird's head at the upper terminal; the exterior of the jug, the handle and the interior lip-rim and spout covered with silver lustre, the interior of the jug covered with a dark brown glaze. A narrow crack to one side of the body.
