Cup and saucer, soft-paste porcelain; cup standing on a straight sided foot rim; curved sides, slightly flared at lip, with a ring and scroll handle; saucer on a foot rim curving into slightly rounded sides; the cup painted in sepia enamel, a landscape with a tree in the foreground right and a cottage behind a tree in the middle distance; gilt band to the foot rim, and to the lip's interior and exterior; the saucer painted in sepia enamel, a central landscape of a tree to the foreground left, and a ruin on a hill in the middle distance; gilt band to the lip.
