A fret, MALTRAVERS; overall a cinquefoil; 2. quarterly, i. and iv. a saltire, a label of three points, NEVILLE; ii. fretty, iii. An eagle displayed, ? MONTHERMER; 3. quarterly, i. Three lions passant guardant, PLANTAGENET; ii. and iii. A saltire engrailed, iv. A lion rampant crowned; 4. quarterly, i. A cross engrailed, INGLETHORPE; ii. On a lower canton a rose, INGLETHOPRPE; iii. On a fess between three lions’ faces, an annulet; iv. Three lozenges (fusils) conjoined in fess, MONTAGU. Shield encircled by the Garter, with its motto: HONI SOIT QVI MAL Y PENSE, and ensigned with a viscount’s coronet. Supporters: Two wolves collared and chained, ducally gorged. In base, on a liston, the motto: SVIVEZ RAISON. No legend.
