Full title: Coffee on a ledge. Seemingly unconcerned, a man standing on a narrow ledge on the 17th floor of the Hotel Gotham today here drinks a cup of coffee passed to him thorugh a nearby window. The Man, identified as John Ward, ignored all inducements to go inside. Meanwhile, fireman spread a net on the street below.

The photograph is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the librarian of the Baltimore Sun Archives Paul M McCardell.
