Jug, pearlware, standing on a rounded slightly spreading foot-rim, globular body, cylindrical neck, plain beak spout, angular scrolled handle; the exterior of the jug covered with silver lustre against which are reserved to either side of the body two round panels transfer-printed in brown and in-filled in red, blue, yellow and brown with a bird perched on a spreading branch, the silver lustre areas decorated using silver lustre resist techniques with to the body below the handle and spout foliate motifs and foliate sprays, geometric border to the exterior neck of a patten of rectangular motifs, a foliate motif to the underside of the spout, two white bands around the shoulder, two white stripes to the handle, a silver lustre band around the interior lip-rim and spout.
