Two handled cup of hard-fired coarse red earthenware, standing on an uneven foot rim, bulbous lower body, tapering at shoulder then flaring to form a wide mouth; twin simple loop handles; the exterior and interior covered in a lustrous dark brown glaze of a pewter-like metallic appearance; extensive restoration to neck, handle and base, the upper portions over-painted in black, the base probably over-painted to resemble red earthenware.
