Mesolithic auroch bone
Distal end of auroch radius. Part of the tabular surfaces has been split away exposing the spongy interior. The surface is marked by 6 deep, angular stab marks in rough alignment. Two are markedly triangular. The most likely explanation seems to be the impact of one or more microlith armed weapons - subsequently withdrawn, perhaps spliting off the tabular bone surface. This bone also has fine cut marks on the opposite face.
