Figure of the young Prince of Wales, white earthenware, crackled glaze, rectangular plinth with canted corners, standing on grass and rocks inscribed in gilt capitals on a narrow plaque. In Scottish costume, red lattice patterned socks, white kilt with green, red and blue tartan pattern, sporran, close fitting blue jacket buttoned up, and green plaid like cloth wrapped around upper part of body, naturalistically painted face, black hair, black bonnet in right hand, white dog with black spots standing partly behind the figure, the dog's head bent round below the figure's left hand.
