Tureen with cover
Soup tureen and cover, silver, oval, the tureen of bombé form with four cast ball-and-claw feet with rococo scrolls and flowers, applied cast gadrooned rim, two cast loop handles in the form of scrolling foliage with beading, the matching domed cover chased with four scrolling acanthus leaves linked by a band of gadrooning and with a cast knop in the form of flowers and a pomegranate, the side engraved with the arms of Grant impaling Battell.
