Medieval pottery baluster jug
Green glazed jug marked below the spout with a cross-crosslet, applied before firing, probably meant to represent the badge of the Dominican Order. The handle has been restored.
Vale Ware jug, 1280-1400. An inscribed cross indicates that it was made for the Dominicans (Blackfriars). It is from Blackfriars, Bute Park, Cardiff.
