Miniature bonnet
Miniature mid 19th century style bonnet, handmade in plaited straw. Circular crown at back of head with broad sunshade type brim. Trimmed with length of mauve velvet ribbon, forming hat band and long ties with further trimming at each side of flowers made from very narrow ribbon. Made in the 1940s by Gladys Irene Phillips of Rhiwbina, Cardiff, who made dolls as a hobby.
