Cup, tea and saucer
Tea cup, hard-paste porcelain, short foot-rim, rounded sides and scrolled handle; painted in black monochrome with to the front of the cup a classical vase in a landscape, two gilt sprigs to the rest of the exterior, a gilt line around the lip-rim, the handle picked out in gilt. Saucer, hard-paste porcelain, short foot-rim and curving sides; painted in black monochrome with to the well a classical vase edged in gilt in a landscape, scattered gilt sprigs around the sides of the well, a gilt line around the rim.
