ss BARRGROVE (5222gt) : Built 1918 by Northumberland Shipbuilding Co. with N.E.M. engines as WAR ANEMONE : Bought 1920 by Naviganione Generale Italiana, Genoa, and renamed STROMBOLI. 1927 - Bought by Barr Shipping Co. Ltd., Glasgow, and renamed BARRGROVE (as seen here) : 1941- Purchased from Barr, Crombie & Co., Glasgow, by the Reardon Smith Line : Sold February 1947 to Cia. de Nav.Glaucos S.A., Panama, and renamed GAROUFALIA. She was wrecked 1951 in fog north of Cape Yatou, China
