Jug
Cork Glass Company (Founded in 1783, following legislation which permitted the export of glass from Ireland, this firm closed in 1818.)
Jug, lead glass, concave base, bulbous body, cylindrical neck with pinched spout, thick loop handle with foliate moulding to the lower terminal, a thick trailed blue thread around the lip-rim and spout, the body of the jug wheel-engraved with a border of oval diapered reserves linked by diamond-shaped ornaments, to either side of the neck, short foliate borders.
