Tazza or kylix, earthenware, in the shape of an ancient Greek kylix, standing on a short pedestal with spreading foot, the main body plate-shaped with gently curving spreading sides, plain horizontal loop handles to either side, one handle broken off; the decoration reserved against a black enamel ground, so that the red earthenware body is revealed, this then transfer-printed in black with to the centre of the well three female figures clad in flowing draperies dancing hand-in-hand, the figure to the far left holds a wreath, border around the edge of the well of Greek key motifs and further geometric shapes on a red ground.
