Fragment, probably the centre of a bowl, vertical cylindrical sides, originally the foot rim of a larger object, flat upper surface, jagged edge with the remnants of the beginnings of an upward curve; the lower sides white, with a glassy glaze, the upper side with a turkey or partridge like bird reserved in white on a brown lustre ground, the bird detailed in a lighter copper-brown lustre, surrounded by the remains of a circular band reserved in white.
