Dillwyn & Co., Cambrian Pottery (1811 - 1817 and 1824 - 1850)

Jug, earthenware, octagonal base, pouch shaped with faceted body, and wishbone-shaped twig handle, freely painted in Imari colours of underglaze blue, iron red, green and ochre, with a vase of flowers under the lip, a stylised fruit (pineapple?) with red and green foliage sprouting from the top under the handle, a trail of small red and blue flowers amidst green foliage to the back of the handle, an ochre rim and an ochre band above the foot
