Sucrier with cover
Sucrier, black basalt, oval form with flat base and straight sides, to either side of the body twin horizontal loop handles ornamented with applied leaves, oval domed cover with to the top a finial modelled in the form of a seated female figure clad in flowing draperies and in a mourning attitude, engine-turned vertical reeding to the exterior sides of the sucrier and the cover, an interlaced pattern around the exterior upper body of the sucrier.
