Cup and saucer
Cup, hard-paste porcelain, inset base, cylindrical sides, the handle broken off and missing; finely painted in polychrome enamels with around the exterior sides of the cup a design of scattered playing cards arranged on a blue ground, gilt lines around the foot-rim and exterior lip-rim. Saucer, hard-paste porcelain, inset base and flaring sides; finely painted in polychrome enamels with to the upperside of the saucer a design of scattered playing cards arranged on a blue ground, a gilt edge to the rim. The rim chipped.
