Cup, hard-paste porcelain, standing on a short cylindrical foot-rim, cylindrical sides curving inwards towards the base, plain loop handle; finely painted in polychrome enamels with to the front of the exterior body of the cup a landscape with a small figure on horseback riding along a dirt track towards a river, several small leaf sprigs to the interior of the bowl, a gilt dentil edge to the exterior lip-rim, the handle picked out in puce.. The foot-rim chipped. Saucer, hard-paste porcelain, circular shape with short cylindrical foot-rim and curving sides; finely painted in polychrome enamels with to the centre of the well a landscape with a figure walking along a dirt track towards a cottage by the side of a river, a gilt dentil edge to the rim.
