Vase, hand-thrown in red earthenware, globular body rising from a shallow foot rim, short circular neck and two loop handles, coated with white slip and an opalescent tin-glaze. On-glaze painted decoration comprising an ochre band at the foot, and a continious pattern of stylised flowers in green, yellow, red, purple, blue and black on the upper part of the body above a green band edged with blue, wave pattern to the neck and green dashes to the lip.
