Hand lamp used by a Police Officer from the Monmouthshire Constabulary. mid 20th century. Battery operated. Black painted metal. Green and red filter used to to direct traffic at night. One folding handle (second handle missing) and chrome belt clip on back. Glass lens built into hinged section at front. Raised button on top. Manufacurer's plate below lens with inscription: FORSTER EQUIPMENT HUNCOTE, LEICS with coat of arms and MONMOUTH in centre.
