Nantgarw China Works (1813 - 1822)
Coffee cup, soft-paste or hybrid porcelain, with a lemon tinged translucency; standing on a straight sided foot rim, indented above, curved sides flaring at lip; c-scroll handle closed above the lip; interior and exterior painted with gilt wreaths containing alternating single pink roses and blue convolvuli on a gilt dotted ground, between gilt stylised lilies; rosebud in centre of bowl, gilt band to foot rim, gilt lip and gilt edged handle.
