LINEN, unbleached, embroidered with red cotton in cross stitch. At the top, in four rows, are Gothic and Roman letters of the alphabet, commencing with crosses, numerals to 10 and the initials "M:P:". Below are the letters of the alphabet in Roman capitals partly surrounded by detached leafy-spray, acorn and geometric designs. On three sides there is an unfinished double stripe border worked in blue and yellow silks.
